PV FARM:

The main component responsible for energy generation at LAB ONE is a photovoltaic farm with a generation capacity of 2.2 MW, consisting of 3,564 modules. The system is based on bifacial (double-sided) panels, using PV modules capable of generating electricity from both direct and diffuse solar radiation reaching the front of the module, as well as reflected radiation (albedo) and diffuse radiation reaching the rear side of the cells. The bifacial modules are based on PERC or n-type cell technologies, such as TOPCon or HJT, which are characterized by high conversion efficiency and long service life.

BIPV:

BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics) is a technology that integrates photovoltaic cells directly into building components. In the LAB ONE building, integrated photovoltaic cells have been incorporated into a range of structural elements, including the façade and façade glazing. As a result, they serve a dual function: providing an aesthetic finish to the building while also generating electricity. The BIPV installation does not disrupt the building’s appearance and simultaneously supports its energy efficiency.

The BIPV energy production capacity in the Lab One cluster is as follows:
